Robert Picardo

Robert will be recognized by most of our attendees as the Doctor (EMH) from ST: Voyager, and as Richard Woolsey from Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis, as well as most recently Clark Murray of Castle.  At 19 he played the lead in the European premiere of MASS, and in 1977 he made his Broadway debut in the comedy Gemini.  Robert has also appeared in The Wonder Years (for which he was nominated for an Emmy), Outer Limits, Star 80, Inner Space, the voice of "Johnny Cab" in Total Recall, and China Beach to name a few.  There are also writing credits (one episode) and directing credits (two episodes) to his name for ST: Voyager.

Coincidentally, Robert's admission to Yale was in pre-med studies.  Robert is a member of the Board of Director's Advisory Council of the Planetary Society, and an accomplished singer - he is quite active in the music world.  Together with John de Lancie, Robert hosts Star Trek: The Music with orchestras in the United States and Canada.

Robert will be doing Q&A sessions, autograph sessions, and some photo sessions during the days of CV-26.

John DeLancie

John de Lancie is best known to most of our attendees as "Q" from ST: TNG as well as ST: DS9 and ST: Voyager, and from his recurring role as Colonel Frank Simmons on Stargate.  He was also very popular in one of his early roles as Eugene Bradford on Days of Our Lives.  Other roles have included The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Get Smart Again!, The Fisher King, Andromeda, as well as voicing the villain Sinestro on an episode of Duck Dodgers.

John has a strong musical background as well, his father was a world-renowned oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra for many years, and John won a scholarship to Juilliard while attending Kent State.  He is active in the music world - performing as a narrator with major orchestras, hosting the Los Angeles Philharmonic Symphonies for Youth, frequent appearances with the Pasadena Symphony, and working with Robert Picardo to host Star Trek: The Music with orchestras in the United States and Canada.

Trivia:  John de Lancie appeared as the first guest star on ST: TNG, as as the last guest star.

Marina Sirtis

Marina will be recognized by most of our attendees as Counselor Deanna Troi from ST:TNG, as well as the ST:Voyager, ST:Enterprise and the ST movies Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis.  Marina began acting in the Worthington Repertory Theatre product of Hamlet, then moved to productions of The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Esmerelda), and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Magenta).  Marina then branched out into British television and movies on both sides of the Atlantic, starring in The Wicked Lady, Death Wish III, Blind Date, and The Thief of Baghdad.  Marina has also been featured in Gargoyles, Crash (2004), and The Grudge 3, to name a few.

Initially, Marina auditioned for the role of Tasha Yar on ST:TNG.  After the audition, she felt it had been unsuccessful and was preparing to board a plane home when she received the call that she had landed the role of Deanna Troi.

Trivia:  Marina wore black contact lenses for the entire seven seasons of ST:TNG and the films, because that was the colour her character's eyes were deemed to be.

HEROINCREDIBLE

Heroincredible is three young, spirited and distinct musicians together in a startlingly original indie rock project. A lot of love and passion has gone into the crafting of their music, and they enjoy every minute of it. Vanessa Cardui's complex and emotional lyrics, Nick Stoll's creative, adventurous drum rhythms and Dave Sharow's melodic and prominent bass lines combine to form a driven, vocal-centric and fiercely passionate rock sound. Their official website can be found here

They are working feverishly on their self-produced debut album even as more material keeps sloshing into their huge body of original compositions. Heroincredible has been performing in the Calgary bar scene since January 2005. Their live act employs outrageous outfits, plastic toys and the use of a toaster onstage, occasionally resulting in messy but hilarious toast-related incidents (cleaned up afterwards by Heroincredible, and only Heroincredible). There have been many wonderful nights with many wonderful bands along the way, and they hope you can join them for the creation of excellent memories and magnificent aural experiences.

Special Appearance by:

Ashley Delehay

Ashley has been modeling for the past five years professionally across Canada and the USA.  While working at “World of Wheels” at the BMO centre in Calgary, she was discovered and offered the leading role in a local film being shot this summer here in the Calgary area called “ Zombie Attack from Outer Space”.   The movie is set to be released on DVD sometime in early October just in time for Halloween and there is already local theatre interest in hosting the Calgary premier of this film

Ashley was entered into the Maxim Magazine “Home Town Hotties” contest with over 700,000 contestants applying. Local radio
station CJAY 92 hosts “Forbes and Friends” also noticed Ashley’s success in Maxim Magazine and immediately contacted her agent to have Ashley live in studio.  In May, Ashley was notified that she not only won week 9, but Ashley received so many votes that Maxim insiders claimed it was a land slide and she is now been selected as one of the semi finalists narrowed down to 100 contestants.

Ashley will be appearing at CV26 on Saturday, October 16 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and again from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
